Subject Tutoring
The tutoring staff at BES understand the difficulties that students who learn differently face every day. With an in-depth knowledge of different learning styles and how to address them, our tutors can individualize their methods to meet each student’s needs.
Depending on your child’s age and need, we have a dynamic approach to support learning. From multisensory math, emerging literacy through AP & IB courses, our tutors can support your family.
Althought most BES tutoring is done online via Zoom or Google Meet, some in-person tutoring is available for certain subjects in the DC Metro area.
English Enrichment
The BES English Enrichment Program, developed by a former Director of College Writing Programs and a Harvard English Professor, is designed to prepare high school seniors for college-level work. Leveraging their extensive expertise and experience, our BES coaches play a crucial role in enhancing both the academic and personal growth of our students. As students prepare for graduation and transition to higher education, they receive tailored guidance and insider insights from college faculty to ensure their writing skills will meet and exceed the expectations at the college level. In just a few weeks this summer, the BES English Enrichment Program, will give your student the skills and confidence they need to excel in their academic pursuits and beyond.
SAT/ACT Test Prep
BES understands that students who learn differently may have different needs when approaching standardized tests. We have designed a flexible program that will be tailored to meet your child’s needs. Besides achieving more, we focus on these areas:

- Skill building for test taking
- Practice tests taking your accommodations into consideration

College Essay Coaching
For many students who learn differently, articulating their thoughts in writing can be exhausting. BES has numerous tutors on staff with advanced degrees who specialize in the written word, have a great deal of experience working with neurodiverse students, and understand what colleges are looking for.
