At BES we recognize that not every student needs our comprehensive support when looking for a college; we have developed an abbreviated process that is ideal for families who do not require assistance with applications oressay writing. After getting to know a little more about the student during our first meetings, your BES consultant will create an individualized list of colleges based on your preferences and our expertise in finding the colleges that best match the student's academic and social/emotional needs. You will have the opportunity to schedule additional meetings to discuss a variety of topics that are important to you. There are also several meetings with your choice of topics and one last meeting just before you leave for school to ensure a smooth transition to your role as a college student.
Designed specifically for seniors who already have a list of colleges, but need to understand the types of support each college offers and whether it can provide what the student needs. After a thorough review of the student's documentation, your BES consultant will meet with you to discuss the colleges of interest and create a profile of the type of support that will be important to your success. In a second meeting, we will provide you with an overview of each college's learning support and may offer suggestions of similar colleges that have the appropriate level of support.
