Chelsea Cylinder has been teaching for 12 years and has taught ages 2-17. She holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors. Her specialty subjects include Test Prep (especially SAT, ACT, SSAT, and ISEE), General Math, Algebra, Geometry, Spanish, English/Writing, Theatre Arts, and Cinema Studies. Chelsea also works as an actress, singer, theatre teaching artist, and producer. She is very excited to be working with Bass Educational Services. Chelsea loves being able to provide personalized learning for her students and really help them get the help that they need. These subjects are hard to learn for the first time; she understands that, and she really enjoys being one of the people responsible for helping them feel less stuck. It is one of her favorite parts about teaching. Chelsea always brings an abundance of enthusiasm, a warm personality, a love of teaching, and a focused and positive work ethic to all of her sessions. She is very excited to meet new students and looks forward to creating an educational, productive, nurturing, and also fun, learning environment.
