Debra A. Berigow, M.S., CPCC, PCC
ADHD & Executive Function Coach
Deb sincerely believes the heart and soul of coaching rests upon the partnership between client and coach, and the coaching experience enables students to ultimately empower themselves—to understand how they learn and to value and utilize their strengths. Through thought-provoking questions and caring support, Deb guides her students to experience self-discovery and experimentation with their ideas in areas such as managing time, balancing life, work and/or academic responsibilities, and developing useful habits and routines. She helps them to create their own individual strategies and solutions as they make changes, create options, and achieve meaningful goals for themselves. Deb does this with optimism, respect and empathy.
Deb worked at Landmark College for 32 years, retiring in 2021. Landmark is an accredited college exclusively serving students with Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, and Executive Function challenges. Starting as a language skills teacher there, Deb became an academic advisor several years later. In 2004, she helped launch Landmark College’s Coaching Services department, and until her retirement 17 years later, she dedicated her career to working with students on an individual basis as an ADHD/Executive Function coach. Deb’s early career in education included teaching in high school, adult education, and Community College settings.
Deb has a B.A. degree in Secondary Education English, a certificate in Special Needs, and an M.S. in Education. She became a life coach through the Co-active Training Institute, holds certificates through the EDGE Foundation in Coaching Students with ADHD, and JST Coaching and Training with Jodi Sleeper-Triplett, MCC, SCC, BCC. Deb is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and ADHD Coaches Organization (ACO).
