ADHD & Executive Functioning Coach
Diane thrives on helping people in their teens and early twenties to successfully reach their goals. As a gifted student muddling her way through school with undiagnosed ADHD, Diane understands the common challenge many students face – feeling “smart enough to do it” but not being able to “get it done.” After years of doubting herself and mistrusting friendships, Diane’s late ADHD diagnosis and treatment plan helped her grow healthy relationships and think positively about herself and her peers. She has spent over 300 classroom hours training with the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) and is working towards her Professional Certified Coach credential (PCC).
Before becoming a professional ADHD coach, Diane worked for several of the largest consulting firms in the world, specializing in information technology. This understanding of technology helps Diane identify with students who may be on the Autism Spectrum, those who see things as black or white, and those who have a technology bent. She works with them to understand the breakdown between their fixed mindset and what they are being asked to do. Her work is strength-based, using the student’s natural thought processes and ways of understanding to create solutions and tools that leverage their strengths. Every client’s victory over a learning stumbling block brings Diane energy and joy.
Diane studied at Johns Hopkins, the University of Pittsburgh, and at Emory University, where she got her Master’s degree. When she’s not coaching, you can find Diane drumming up supplies for her favorite pet rescue, Pawmetto Lifeline, or floating around in her pool!
