 ADHD & Executive Function Coach

Hannah is a dedicated educator with a rich background in teaching and working with individuals of various abilities. Currently, Hannah is expanding her qualifications by working on her Orton-Gillingham Associate Certification, an approach particularly effective for students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. She has recently completed her training for ADHD and Life Coach Certification through the ADD Certification Academy (ADDCA), further enhancing her ability to support students with attention and executive functioning challenges.

Hannah began her academic journey at Valdosta State University in Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education, with a concentration in Mathematics and Social Sciences, graduating in 2016. During her college years, Hannah was actively involved in the Therapeutics Department of the Valdosta-Lowndes Recreation and Parks Association. There, she served as a camp counselor for children with disabilities, organized events, and coached Special Olympics activities for adults in the Young Adults Club. This experience laid the groundwork for her inclusive approach to education and her dedication to supporting individuals with diverse needs.

Hannah’s professional career began in Henrico County, Virginia, where she taught middle school math, primarily in collaborative classrooms that integrated students of varying abilities. After six years in the classroom, she sought new opportunities to focus on her passion for one-on-one student interactions and relationship-building. This led her to a role as a substitute teacher at an all-girls independent school in Richmond, Virginia, where she rediscovered her love for personalized education.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Hannah enjoys reading, coloring, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She is a devoted aunt to her nephew Levi and niece Campbell, and she frequently cares for her brother with intellectual disabilities, reflecting her ongoing commitment to family and caregiving.

Now at Bass Educational Services, Hannah is eager to continue spreading her enthusiasm and love for learning by working closely with individual students, helping them achieve their educational goals.
