ADHD & Executive Function Coach

Kathy’s love of coaching college students and adults with ADHD/executive function and learning differences is built upon her vast experience and expertise working in a college exclusively for students who learn differently. As a founding faculty member of Landmark College, the premier college for students who learn differently, and with 36 years of experience in teaching, administration, advising, and coaching, Kathy understands the cognitive, emotional and developmental processes and the issues and concerns of neurodiverse individuals.

Recently retired from Landmark College, Kathy’s career in teaching spans from kindergarten through graduate school. Having created resource rooms in public education for 5 years, Kathy continued her career at the college level teaching courses in study skills, group advising, and First Year Studies. She was a supervisor for new faculty and trained new advisors. As Associate Dean, she worked with students to help them understand their strengths and learning strategies. She has published original research in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at regional and national conferences as a practitioner teaching and advising neurodiverse college students. Throughout Kathy’s career, she consistently was an academic advisor and held the position of Director of Advising and received recognition for Outstanding Advising Administrator from the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA)

She brings to her coaching the belief that most of us want a more fulfilling life based on choice and balance, and that once we express our intention to change, change happens. You can expect Kathy to be honest and authentic, provide an environment of trust and integrity, give you positive support and accountability and remain excited about your work together. Kathy has a passion for coaching and helping individuals who want to understand themselves better at a deeper level. Observing the transformation never gets old.

Kathy enjoys reading, writing, walking, cooking, traveling, family, friends, and being a Nonna!
