Patricia Braun, J.D.
Sr. College Consultant
Tricia enjoys working with students and their families to find the college or post-secondary program that will best help students reach their potential as they transition from high school to the next chapter in their lives. For her this includes focusing on each student’s strengths and helping find programs that will support each student’s unique challenges. Tricia has taught classes and designed curriculum in high schools and elementary schools.
A graduate of Yale Law School, Tricia practiced law for ten years before turning her focus to raising her three children. During that time, Tricia continued her involvement in schools, and used her advocacy experience to bring together various stakeholders, including parents, public school administrators, and elected officials to improve the destination middle school in her Washington, DC ward. She is a co-founder of the Wilson Feeder/Ward 3 Education Network, and has a passion for advocacy on behalf of students and families. As a parent of twice-exceptional children, including one on the spectrum, Tricia has a particular interest in helping twice-exceptional students and those on the autism spectrum. In addition to her law degree Tricia has a BA in Psychology and English: Creative Writing from Southern Methodist University.
